Big hitters back Event Sustainability Live
Whether you’ve been watching this space recently or not, you’ve likely noticed our commitment to actively putting #practicalsustainability front and centre in our own business operations, and in support of our client’s event sustainability objectives.
So, we might be rubbing shoulders at Event Industry News’s latest show on the block, Event Sustainability Live, at ExCel in November.
As the events sector continues to convert well-intentioned theory into measurable practice, it’s inspiring to see industry big guns throwing their weight behind the inaugural outing. Most recently announcing they’re in are:
- A Greener Future – Helping events, festivals, organisations and venues reduce environmental impacts and boost sustainability via carbon footprint and NetZero strategies, events and networking, training and support
- EventWell – Award winning go-to body for event welfare, mentally healthy events and neuro-inclusion
“The two shows will run alongside each other at Excel, which cuts transport emissions by half, and will have the same onus on remarkable content. They are independent events otherwise though.” Parry said. “We hope there will be some cross-pollination in terms of audience, obviously, but it’s easy to see the focus on sustainability as much as technology through data we get from stories published at Event Industry News.”
At MICE Concierge, we proudly launched our own Green Days initiative in April 2023, to support you and your stakeholders with genuinely useful, sustainable event solutions. Get in touch about delivering leading edge events in line with your organisation’s overall ESG aspirations.
