On 24th August, voting opens for this year’s hotly contested 13th Meetings Industry Association (mia) annual awards. And the incredible news is you can put your X in the box for none other than yours truly, MICE Concierge. In case you hadn’t already heard, we’re over the moon to be shortlisted in the Sustainability category.
The ultimate victor who scoops this highly coveted accolade must demonstrate an outstanding contribution to sustainable meetings, conferences, and events in the UK. This will take into account both their internal efforts within their own businesses, and their external impact on the broader industry.
The mia’s Chief Executive Kerrin McPhie told Conference News’s Louisa Daley: “We’re thrilled to see the sector’s continued appetite to recognise its talent and teams, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements. Our judges have had a huge task whittling down this year’s entries for our shortlist, which is testament to those serving their organisations and the business meetings and events sector.”
The winners will reap the rewards of their Hurculean efforts and stellar performances at a ritzy awards ceremony at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel on 6th October.
