With the recent introduction of game-changing event sustainability measurement tools, thousands of event professionals are now equipped to convert well-intentioned lip service in to tangible practice.
And thousands of hotels and venues are wasting no time in picking up the gauntlet. Amongst them is the the Venues Collection , “a grouping of seven easily accessible event spaces with hotel-like residential and leisure facilities”, featuring “…stylish and individual event spaces, including both contemporary and historic meeting areas.”
They’re delighted to announce the signing up of all seven of their phenomenal venues to Green Tourism’s ‘Green Meetings’ pledge. The pledge addresses areas that the events and hospitality sectors have previously scored notoriously poorly for, including carbon, food, health and wellbeing, water and other energy wastage.
The Venues Collection, which can host up to 2,000 delegates in a single venue, consists of –
· Alexandra House Swindon
· Eastwood Hall Nottingham
· Kents Hill Park Milton Keynes
· Kettering Conference & Leisure Village
· Milton Hill House Oxford
· Sedgebrook Hall Northampton
· Yarnfield Park Staffordshire
